I Love the Nightlife
For all the negative things that I can say about Philly, one positive thing I can say is that it's certainly purty at night.
In other news, it's 40 degrees out and I'm fairly numb and the wind is making my nose leak. Commuting stinks in the winter (except when it's snowing - beats driving!).

because these girls matter
thanks to my beautiful, fun-loving, hilarious, generous female loves of my life! you made a swell bunch of bridesmaids. extra special thanks to my friend nikki, a brand new nyc resident who was able to join us in our romp in the city.
we started out at lucky chengs drag caberet (yes, you read that correctly), hit the nearest irish pub for my drink of choice (guiness of course), and moved on to the pyramid, nyc's own 80s club.
AWESOME !
it was a night i'll ALWAYS remember.

One of those nights
Ever have one of those days where...
Your cat pukes 5 times in 5 different places in 2 different rooms in the span of 3 minutes?
You're already running mad late but dear hubby calls and needs you to hunt down a folder he forgot to bring to work and you have to search high and low for it and turns out it was inches from where you were standing?
It's pouring freezing rain and your umbrella is falling apart as you make the mile dash to the train station?
You miss said train by 2 minutes?
You have 8 hours to complete and send out an important grant but you need like 24 more hours?
You can't get Microsoft Word to format a document to save your life?
You get out of work an hour late only to just miss your bus, forcing you to spend some quality time with Jack Frost?
At least I had this beauteous sight waiting for me at 30th Street Station...
Can't wait to be home and in my pajamas!
